Jabir ibne-'Abdullah and Abu Talhah ibne-Sahl Al-Ansari Radiyallahu 'anhum narrate that Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: No Muslim will desert a man who is confronted with a situation where his respect and honour is being violated but Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will desert him in a situation when he will be in need of His help. And no Muslim will help a Muslim in a situation when his respect and honour is being violated, but Allah will help him in a situation when he will be in need of His help. (Abu Dawud: 4884)
